Your first home, without the confusion.
Grants, schemes, stamp duty exemptions, deposits, pre-approvals, there's a lot thrown at first home buyers. We guide you through every step, in plain English, for free.
From 'where do we start?' to settlement day.
Buying your first home is exciting, and overwhelming. Most first home buyers don't know what they don't know: which government schemes they qualify for, how much deposit they really need, what lenders look for, or what happens after an offer is accepted. That's exactly the gap we fill.
In NSW, eligible first home buyers pay no transfer (stamp) duty on homes up to $800,000, with a concession up to $1,000,000, a saving that can exceed $30,000. Federal schemes can let eligible buyers purchase with as little as a 5% deposit without paying lenders mortgage insurance. We'll map out which of these you can use, and how they stack together.
Then we do what brokers do best: compare 35+ lenders for the loan that fits your deposit, income and plans, prepare your application properly, and stay beside you from pre-approval through to picking up the keys.

NSW stamp duty calculator
Estimate your transfer duty, and what the First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme could save you.
Estimates only. Uses NSW transfer duty rates for FY2025–26 (thresholds are indexed each 1 July) and approximates the FHBAS concession between $800k and $1m on a linear scale. Excludes surcharge purchaser duty, mortgage registration and transfer fees. Check current rates at revenue.nsw.gov.au. Results do not constitute credit advice or an offer of finance, and your eligibility depends on a full assessment of your circumstances. Talk to us for figures based on your actual situation.
